soulmate …. i am connected to

grace …. i am blessed with
forgiveness …. i am understanding of
gratefulness …. i am a conduit for
mmmmmmmm ….
feel the energies moving all around ….
close my eyes ….
hear the sound ….
forward.
through.
positive.
love.
light.
gift.

Gracious eyes.
Efficacious grin.
Capacious heart …. made of gold.
You changed lives without trying.
You made a difference.
You touched us.
Your time here was fleeting.
In the blink of an eye you left.
Why?
Is it wrong we got to know you only so briefly?
Should we have been better off without this pain?
Listen to him – hear his gentle words floating through the haze of reality.
Love what time we had – know there is a bigger plan.
Cherish his memory – it’s ok to miss him.
Let the tears flow – they cleanse.
Spirit, place this soul gently into our hearts,
cradle it gingerly as we bravely face our tomorrows without him.

SPARKS
Feel it building.
Below the surface.
Watch the power grow.
Touch it.
Sparks!
Starts with an annoyance ….
Pump the bellows ….
Ebbs to anger ….
Pump the bellows ….
Glows white hot to rage ….
Bellows have done their work.
Sparks emanate from my fingertips.
Smell the ozone burn!
Feet – rooted.
Mind – set.
Jaw – locked.
Armor – fixed.
I do not fear the light, the POWER, of the blue sparks.
I am mighty – NEVER underestimate me!

lips creep into an upward, crooked curve
like dominoes, goose bumps cascade across the landscape of my skin
a breath catches in my lungs
as my eyelids knit ….
our fingers interlace
our gaits coincide
i can’t suppress the grin
…. pause ….
…. turn ….
our arms encircle each other
our eyes lock
our lips meet
time slows to a halt
remind myself …. breathe in …. breathe out ….

PRAYER
God,
Grant me the strength to forge ahead towards my dreams,
for I am feeling oh so tired and am faltering a bit.
Keep my mind focused,
my body healthy, strong, and nimble,
and my spirit illuminated so brightly
that I may see far enough into the moment
to keep myself on my path,
but not too far to miss out on the moment itself.
Love me as I ought to love myself.
Protect me when I am vulnerable.
Remind me to bring myself back to “center” as often as I am able.
Guide me towards total financial independence so that I may not only provide for myself but also for all others in my life without drain.
